Centre for Osteo-Articular Surgery (CCO) of Polyclinique Saint-Privat

Structure and organization of the CCO

The CCO was founded in 2004. Its objective has always been to provide high-quality, hyper specialized care in osteoarticular surgery, also called orthopaedics.

Orthopaedic surgery is made up of 3 major specialties :

  • Lower limb surgery (hip, knee, ankle, foot)
  • Upper limb surgery (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand)
  • Spinal surgery (or spine surgery)

Let’s mention but a few of the well-known orthopaedic surgery procedures carried out by the CCO surgeons, among which: hip and knee replacement, meniscus and cruciate ligament surgery, hallux valgus surgery, rotator cuff, carpal tunnel, disc herniation, narrow lumbar canal …

On an average, the 4 surgeons of the CCO perform between 2500 and 3000 surgical operations a year in the Saint-Privat clinic located on the outskirts of the city of Béziers, in the town of Boujan (34760). All the three major orthopaedic surgery specialties are covered by this team of 4 surgeons.

They see you and consult on their premises to diagnose your condition and decide whether surgery is desirable or whether medical treatment should be preferred.

A team of 7 medical secretaries is available daily to attend to you and give support throughout your pathway: from appointment making by phone or online, to your follow-up consultation a few weeks after your operation if it has been scheduled; through the preparation of all the steps that lead to the operating room. They also remain at your service for any assistance in administrative and medical procedures.
